In summer 2013, the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), with funding from NSF’s Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program, will provide undergraduates with opportunities to engage in scientific research focused on the effects of climate change in terrestrial and marine ecosystems.

UCSC’s REU program is an 8-week paid research internship held at our central campus overlooking the city of Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay. This program will accommodate up to eight undergraduate students, who will work closely with UCSC faculty working on diverse ecological projects related to climate change.
