We are currently awaiting confirmation of funding for 2016, once that is in place applications will open for the summer.
In summer 2016, the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), with funding from NSF’s Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program, will provide undergraduates with opportunities to engage in scientific research focused on the effects of climate change in terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
UCSC’s REU program is an 8-week paid research internship from June 13 through August 5 held at our central campus overlooking the city of Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay. This program will accommodate up to eight undergraduate students, who will work closely with UCSC faculty working on diverse ecological projects related to climate change.
